Would this e border collie who goes mental at the fence when people go past or seagulls
He was such a good demonstrator 😂😂😂
Titles sound interesting but tooooo much echo to hear what you saying
You are marvelous! Thank you!😊
❤Thank you
It makes such sense, I want my pup to be the best trained chihuahua!
So helpful Tricks omg. Thank you so much. Your Rottie is super cute ☺️
Great video brother I am using some of this right now Much thanks
SO BRILLIANT!!! Thank you so much for this. Our rescue we adopted 4 weeks ago needs this kind of training and mental stimulation
Where’s the start point on dark nails ? I don’t want to wound my dog
Why do people want to give verbal instructions and then have distracting "music" in the background? It's even worse when a person has an accent and is talking inside an echo chamber.
But how do i get her to obey?? Your dog is doing what you commant, Fifi is just jumping on me wanting to play. How do I get her to do this!?
I want to teach my dog to roll herself up in a blanket, she can roll over, I need the hold so she can grab the blanket
Great video w helpful tips
Haha! Best intro ever! Subbed, second video I watched and very useful for helping me with my new puppy.
Our dog (18 months) isn't terrible at recally, but she can disappear from view, e.g. into woods, and then take too long (5-10 mins) to come back. She's always returned (so far!) but I'd like it a little quicker. Do you still reward this "bad" behaviour?
Thank you for this video! I want to teach my dog to hold and started with a pen, but as soon as it's in his mouth, he'll start chewing on it or just drop it right away to get the trick. I couldn't seem to figure out how to get him to understand to hold it haha. I will try those tricks thanks!
Man, love your videos. They are the best 👍🏻
Totally agree, I do this with my three but I throw it in all sorts of random places like bushes. Had no idea it was called aegons game we just say find it. We also do a lot of flirt pole for the reasons you say 😁👍
We will be bringing home a new Lab puppy next week and I am gobbling up your excellent tips on focussing in particular. Our last dog, a Border Collie was really excellent with eye contact so I hope this will come naturally to me to teach again but brilliant reminders from you is so helpful, it’s been a long time since we had a puppy! Keep going, I need the info!
This video just shows the kinda patience one shohld have to train and manage eish
Nice. Dogs will do anything for good treats!
Way too much talking, not enough demonstration.
Ah I’m really sorry you didn’t enjoy the video! It was my best effort to help as much as possible in one video as I can! I’m training a 9 week old puppy now so hopefully you’ll enjoy my next similar video more!
Why do you use "aegon" as the command instead of just "release"?
I enjoy this Contend. Nice kalm and informative. (from 3:44 forward 😆 It´s so funny how he looks, adorable
Mom just got a new puppy i have to take care of time to train properly while continuing training with my personal older dog.
How long should each stage take? By the time I’m on the second step my 8 week old will only get it right 2-3 times before getting overexcited and jumping all over my hand. I’m using chicken because she has not interest in her kibble for long
I hate it when they do it over and over. Or dragging it out. Use the simple word. but yes they don't always focus on you. Wait a second try again not sit sit sit. Sit. Wait. Sit
True. I was going to disagree on the toy no being the reward. But yes the interaction should be. It gives the dog positive interactions with owner and doing things for them. Love what you do
But then would you not be teaching him the command " Paw" means to do that. I guess if there is no hand being held out that would work. But still unsure
it very good
Wow. I’d love to make my dog my servant. 😂
Amazing job!💖
I’m raising a female malinois for IGP competition. I don’t want to use a force fetch for the retrieve, and am exploring various positive options.
My dog is 10 weeks old
My dog is 10 weeks old❤❤❤❤
Yes thank you very much. So much wisdom..
You had me at dont be a cruel C**t 😂
My dog is a drama queen when I leave him in the car. At most he has been alone 17 minutes. It's horrible when I come back and have to explaine to concerne people that he has not been alone for hours.
How about socialization with other dogs and people. If the dog is so focus on you how can you get the dog to feel comfortable around other dogs and if you have to leave it at a doggy daycare???
thanks bro just got 2 german shepherds and they listen like a fully trained military dog
Oh this is excellent, thank you! Subscribing!
This is fabulous.
How about showing how to calm down a very excited little puppy, when you first start training them.
I absolutely love that you use Rottweiler puppies in your videos. I have two Rottweiler puppies that I am training now. They are 12 weeks old today and they are learning a crazy amount.
What a great video. I’ve never heard focus broken down that way and looking back this would have been awesome on my previous dogs. I have a puppy coming this summer and I will be using this technique.
This is actually brilliant. 😅 thank you
Will definitely try your suggestions. Thank you! One question though, my Yorkie is five pounds so she can’t climb in the car by herself. I have to pick her up and put her in her car seat. Any suggestions for desensitizing this event? She cries like someone is killing her every time I put her in her car seat. I’ve tried all types; front middle, backseat basket where she can look out window, crate, carrier. Nothing works she cries and cries the whole ride.
I taught my puppy to wait the ok for eating, exiting the crate, or getting Toys. A way to teach focus may be to give the ok when they make the eye contact on you, rather than the food or toys.
This is the most detailed video on dog training I could find. Can you also mention the age of the dog when someone could start teaching certain tricks?
